  1. Megane: A slow-paced movie which is never boring, but funny because of the weird characters. All the shown food made me hungry though!

  2. Pianomania: Makes me wonder how I will ever get such an ear for sounds. Lovely to see how musicians get caught up in the details of music.

  3. So did anybody test it out already?

If you’re living in the US and have some time, Adobe & Behance is holding a contest where you can win CS5:

    Good luck!

  4. I’ve been following the Tumblr of Adventure Time for a while and I’m quite excited about the launch tonight! Even though we have no Cartoon Network and it won’t show anywhere here at 8:00 PM like in the US, I’m pretty sure there will be a torrent around with the show.

For those who don’t know, here’s an episode that has been made 2 years ago by a guy named Pendleton Ward. It is now developed into a series. Awesome stuff, so if you live in the US, watch it!

  5. If you don’t know it yet, check out YouTube today. As an April Fool’s option they have “TextP” under the resolution options which displays the video in ASCII mode (all text).

So if you ever wondered how your videos look like in ASCII art, now’s your chance!

  6. Having no money sucks, this first half year I missed out on plenty of concerts because of that - most of them I really wanted to see: Imogen Heap, MGMT, Flight of the Concords and Swell Season. :\

On a bright note, I was able to go to some: Wendy McNeill was really awesome as always - she is such a good live performer, but it was a tad bit short. I saw The Molotovs after that, because it was free. I didn’t know them before, but they were pretty okay.

Last weekend there was Los Compesinos…

  7. As some of you know, I’m now busy with writing my Master thesis. It’s sort of in the beginning stages at the moment and I’m at the point where I need to define different types of users/groups, their needs and their habits. So in order to get a impression, I need to interview some people, which actually can be anybody, as long as you listen to music and go to concerts once in a while. If you are a performer, then even better!

I have a few simple questions about music, which you can find at the…

  8. For FAWM (fawm.org, where the challenge is to write 14 songs in February) I actually spend most of February trying to search for new chord progressions and melodies and made 5 I think. No lyrics written for those yet. Then I went on to looking for old songs to finish, which only needed lyrics. I counted of those 19 songs. Of course I didn’t those. :P

Then last week I decided to just write a bunch of short songs. I already wrote 4 short songs and then in the last 2 days I wrote another 10,…

  9. Okay, I’ve been surfing on the web today like every other day and this thing called “Pancake Day” keeps popping up on several sites.

    Yummmmmmm!

Now tell me more about this Pancake Day!

  10. February Album Writing Month as seen on the website: http://fawm.org . The deal is to write 14 songs in 28 days. Not sure if I can make that, but it sure sounds like fun (and productive) to do, so I will try writing 14 songs this month!

You know what sounded like fun to me? If you guys suggested topics to write about - like little assignments - and I’ll try writing one with that suggested topic. It can range from something like “write a song about your trip to the US” to “write a song about…
